Washington Community Schools selects Harmony® for Student Management

Indianapolis, Indiana, March 1, 2010 – Harmony's newest addition is Washington Community Schools, which are located in Washington, Indiana. Washington Community Schools contains four elementary buildings, all of which have been using Harmony for several years. Washington Junior High and Washington High School will join their elementaries in using Logic Key, Inc.’s Harmony School Management Software for their student management needs. Washington Community Schools consists of six buildings with an enrollment of 2,456 students for the 2008-2009 school year. Harmony is a robust and flexible software application that allows easy access to all aspects of a student’s education as well as many of the day-to-day functions of the school. The result is a comprehensive database that suits all of a school's needs: from entering student demographic information to approving leave requests. Harmony provides software solutions for managing student grades, attendance, discipline, and health records. In addition, Harmony allows school personnel to easily compile and submit the Indiana State Reports as required by the Department of Education. Harmony will enable Washington Community Schools to more efficiently communicate with their students’ parents via email and a secure web site. Grades, attendance, discipline, and other aspects of the student’s day will be available in real time through Harmony’s web interface. School staff will notice a decrease in the amount of redundant work performed as well as time spent performing routine duties. Harmony greatly improves the overall efficiency of a school, allowing personnel to do what they do best - provide a quality education for students.
